Bio

Hi everyone. My name is Doug Moore. I'm d4rdbuilder on the 2cool site.  I live with my son Kevin in Bayou Vista, located on Highland Bayou on Galveston's Upper West Bay. I'm presently single, but have 4 kids. Stephen, Kevin, Gary and Kasey (all grown). I have yet to be blessed with any grandchildren, but then again, the four of them were always a bit lazy! LOL!

As far as what I do for a living, well I'm in the construction field. Have been all my life, and don't know much of anything else.

I love anything to do with the outdoors. Hunting, Fishing, Camping, Boating or just setting with good friends, cooking outdoors and watching the water go by. Oh yea, and  rod building. I love it! I build mostly inshore salt water and standup boat rods.

The greatest thing I've found about rod building...? Its' the people! I've been a lot of places and been involved with a lot of things, but nothing has ever came close to the sort of people I've been blessed to know since my involvement with this craft.
