OK, as I said, I wanted these pages to show who you are and Renaissance is a big part of mine and Debbi's lives. Do not look for us much during October and November of each year because we are out there every weekend..sometimes both days (and its 90 miles away...one way). As I had said before, and I know my man card is in jeporady (not lol), but I design and sew most of out outfits. My red Dublet I prurchased there, but everything else is ours. Debbi helps with the creative design and colors and I do the actual design, layout, pattern making/changing, heavy sewing etc.
We have A BALL out there and have many many friends. So many people are shocked that we spend so much time out there (9:00 am to dark)? Seems dumb to me...food, drink, friends, getting to wear incredible outfits (beats the shorts, t-shirts, goatee of this era)...I always ask them...what did you do Saturday? watch golf, mow the yard, clean the garage??? haha
I used to were a shirt something like these in the late 60s while stationed in Alameda, Ca. Near SF. That picture would really start a roar. Is this in TX?
Just wondered. We have one right here at one of californias most famous lakes. L. Casitas. They also hold Indian Days and Western Days. When they start doing Neanderthal Days I am going to be the guest speaker. LOL
I think we have a couple of bars close to me that look like the beer pub (including the dirt floor), only the women don't look like that. It looks like a lot of fun.
