.RodBuilding....Etc....

One of my dreams as a rodbuilder was to one day, visit the St.Croix Rod factory in Park Falls, Wisconsin...and that happened in August 2008 and a driving distance of 3000 miles !!!!!....Was it worth it .????....You Bet !!...
But there is more to Wisconsin than the St.Croix Rod factory...here are some scenes from the Pikes Lake Area, where Ron Walter and I went for a boat ride on Pike Lake..
One morning I drove up to Ashland ,Wisconsin that was on the shore of Lake Superior..that was another dream, was to see Lake Superior...it is NOT you average bass lake !!....Even had coffee with Lake Superior and went walking on the trail, which is right on the shore !!

To be continued.....BTW...if you are wondering where are the photos of the St.Croix Rod Factory Tour...Photography Is Prohibited !!
